At week 19 of your pregnancy, you've almost reached the halfway mark. While there typically isn’t a scheduled prenatal visit this week, you can look forward to your upcoming 20-week ultrasound. "The anatomy ultrasound looks at all the parts of the fetus, fetal growth and fluid levels,” explained Jill Purdie, M.D., a board-certified OBGYN at Northside Women’s Specialists, part of Pediatrix® Medical Group. Sleep may be increasingly difficult due to your growing belly. Some people may find comfort “with additional pillows for support during sleep and may even choose to use a pregnancy pillow," said Dr. Purdie.
