Human Trafficking

This anti-human trafficking policy applies to all Pediatrix team members, agents, contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.

Team members must not engage in trafficking-related activities, including sex trafficking and recruiting workers through force, fraud, coercion or involuntary servitude or slavery; procuring commercial sex acts; using forced labor; withholding or destroying identification or immigration documents; recruiting with fraudulent tactics; charging recruitment fees; failing to provide return transportation when required; or providing substandard housing.

Team members must report suspected human trafficking to a supervisor or HR immediately and will not face retaliation for reporting.

Suppliers must comply with Pediatrix policies and applicable laws, including those on forced labor, human trafficking, environmental, health, safety and labor practices. Suppliers must verify their own suppliers also comply.

Pediatrix will promptly investigate potential human trafficking by team members, subcontractors or suppliers and take corrective action.

Violations of this policy by team members may result in termination.
