About

As a pediatric hospitalist, I care for newborns and children with illnesses that require hospitalization, and also help emergency medicine doctors manage the care of some pediatric patients. I feel lucky to be able to work in multiple areas of pediatric medicine. It is always a privilege to help parents welcome healthy new babies to their families, as well as to provide support and education when something unexpected happens and a newborn requires extra care. When children are sick enough to require admission to the hospital, my goal is always to help families navigate the hospitalization process, fully understand their child’s diagnosis and treatment plan, and work collaboratively towards discharge home as soon as possible.
