Roy Bergstrom, M.D.

About

Dr. Bergstrom is a Colorado native who has been part of our hospitalist team since its inception in 2016. He grew up in Longmont, Colorado, and attended the University of Colorado medical school. He completed his OB/GYN residency at the University of Iowa. Following his formal education, Dr. Bergstrom served in the Navy, providing OB/GYN care in exciting locations such as the Caribbean (Puerto Rico) and Washington DC at the National Naval Medical Center Bethesda. He returned to Colorado to private OB/GYN practice in Littleton for 15 years before joining the Obstetrix team.

Dr. Bergstrom is active in hospital leadership and medical student education. He enjoys caring for women during one of the most significant events of their lives. His goals are not only to have a healthy mother and child but to provide a memorable experience that can be recalled fondly. In his spare time, Dr. Bergstrom loves creating pottery on the wheel, constructing theatrical sets, and exploring our lovely state. He has been married for the past 25 years to his college sweetheart, and they have three lovely teenage children and one mini Australian Shepherd.
