Ryan Boggs, M.D.

Ryan Boggs was born and grew up in Tampa Bay. After graduating from H. B. Plant High School, he attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!). He was subsequently accepted into the Junior Honors Medical Program for early admittance into medical school at the University of Florida. After medical school, he completed a pediatric residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then returned to the state of Florida for his fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Florida Congenital Heart Center. He pursued an additional year of advanced training in non-invasive pediatric cardiac imaging with a focus in pediatric cardiac MRI and fetal echocardiography also at the University of Florida Congenital Heart Center.
His clinical interests include noninvasive imaging that encompasses pediatric cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, fetal echocardiography, and computed tomography angiography. He also enjoys the time he spends teaching the medical students, residents, and fellows of the University of South Florida. When he is not caring for the Tampa Bay pediatric community, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and dog or catching a Rays baseball game!
