Jill Cassels, NNP

About

Jill Cassels is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner focusing on evaluating the well-being of newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and creating comprehensive treatment plans. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing.

Following graduation, Jill worked as a nurse in the newborn nursery and has enjoyed working with babies and their families ever since. She gained experience in a Level III NICU before earning a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. She has practiced primarily in Level IV NICUs since becoming an NNP. Jill has been part of Pediatrix® Neonatology of Missouri since March 2021.

Jill enjoys the flexibility of her career and that it allows her to homeschool her three girls. She enjoys being an active member of her church and playing keyboard in the church’s praise band. Jill loves training to run races. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and three girls on their farm in Ash Grove, MO.
