Chesney Castleberry, M.D.

Chesney Castleberry, M.D., is a pediatric cardiologist specializing in heart failure and transplant. In addition to heart failure and transplant, her clinical interests include pediatric cardiomyopathy and ventricular assist devices. Dr. Castleberry attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. She then completed a residency program at the Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Northwestern University and a fellowship at Children’s Wisconsin, Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a member of the American Heart Association, American Society of Transplantation, International Pediatric Transplant Association and International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.
Dr. Castleberry lives in Austin with her husband and two children. They enjoy spending time in the Hill Country with family and outdoors on their bikes. Dr. Castleberry is also active in triathlons and has completed two Ironman competitions.
