Kanishk Jha, M.D.

About

Dr. Jha is a dedicated neonatologist eager to positively impact the lives of vulnerable newborns and their families. He is committed to providing compassionate and skilled care to Spokane’s smallest residents.

Dr. Jha’s special interests include skin-to-skin care, respiratory care, congenital heart disease, ECMO and neurodevelopmental outcomes. He is ELSO-certified. ELSO, or the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization, provides support to those delivering extracorporeal life support.

Dr. Jha believes every newborn is innately equipped with remarkable endurance and resilience, essential qualities for their journey in this world. Babies are born small but are undeniably mighty, embodying incredible strength and spirit. Their drive inspires him to support them during the most challenging moments of recovery.

When not at work, Dr. Jha enjoys spending time with family in Seattle, watching Jeopardy, exercising, meditating and playing cricket.
