Kim Lipscomb, M.D., is a board-certified OBGYN and maternal-fetal medicine specialist and a native of Jacksonville, Alabama. She has practiced at Maternal-Fetal Specialists for more than 15 years. A graduate of Howard University College of Medicine in Washington D.C., Dr. Lipscomb completed her OBGYN residency and maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at LAC+USC Medical Center Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. With more than 30 years of experience, she possesses clinical expertise in all areas of high-risk pregnancies and maternal-fetal wellness.
Dr. Lipscomb is passionate about quality improvement and solving disparities in health care. She is a standing member of the Quality Improvement Committee and Perinatal Services Committee and chairs the Professional Relations Committee at Northside Hospital Atlanta.
Dr. Lipscomb is grounded in her faith and family. Her community service, engagement and philanthropy are focused on women’s and children’s health and empowerment, education and the arts. One of her most cherished civic activities, fueled by her personal journey, is serving as board member of non-profit TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation. She is a dog lover and enjoys connecting with family and friends, traveling and experiencing a range of cultures, oceans, wellness spas and live music, as well as vintage shops around the world.
