Dr. Caroline Stella provides expert specialty care and services for women with low-risk and high-risk pregnancies and pregnancies with prenatal complications. She also offers perinatal counseling. 

As a mother who had two high-risk pregnancies, Dr. Stella knows the trepidation and anxiety of her many patients and will do her best to relieve these anxieties. Moreover, beloved by her patients, as indicated by her exemplary online reviews, Dr. Stella strives to provide the best care possible in the most caring and comforting manner. She also believes that a collaborative approach with her patients brings the most optimal outcomes. 

Dr. Stella, who recently relocated to Boca Raton with her family, is privileged to serve and give the best possible care to women in the Palm Beach and Broward County area. She provides a full range of services for expectant mothers, including genetic counseling and diabetes in pregnancy programs, and believes the best outcomes result from a collaborative relationship between patient and provider. 

Before joining Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists of Boca Raton, Dr. Stella served as the medical director of maternal-fetal medicine and held other leadership positions at White Plains Hospital/Montefiore Health in White Plains, New York. For over a decade, she also served as the medical director of maternal-fetal medicine and held numerous leadership positions at Yale Medicine at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut.   

Dr. Stella has had numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has received multiple awards and honors. An expert in preeclampsia, preterm labor, thrombophilia and proteomic technology, she has been invited to speak regionally, nationally and internationally on various maternal-fetal medicine issues.  

Double board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine, Dr. Stella is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Association for Physician Leadership. 

Dr. Stella has also been included in Castle Connolly’s “Top Doctors,” Exceptional Women in Medicine, New York Magazine Top Doctors, Westchester Magazine Top Doctors, Greenwich Magazine Top Doctors and Fairfield County Top Doctors and has been recognized with the Patient’s Choice Award, On-Time Doctor Award, Compassionate Doctor Award and America's Most Honored Professionals.
