Sarah Waller, M.D.
- Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Each day an increasing number of women with chronic health conditions, including cancer survivors, women living with cardiovascular and autoimmune diseases as well as diabetes, confront their significant health issues and face challenges of high-risk pregnancies. It is these patients with whom Dr. Waller is motivated to guide into and through pregnancy. The road to delivery is often long and tortuous, requiring multiple tests and extended hospitalizations, yet the outcome is positive and allows them to grow their families. In addition, guiding families through pregnancies complicated by fetal anomalies is a challenge with multiple decision points which require complex decision making in conjunction with our pediatric colleagues.
In her free time, Dr. Waller enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. They love exploring the Pacific Northwest, spending their winters in the mountains and summers at the many Washington lakes and beaches.
