Amy Yen, M.D.

About

Amy Yen, M.D., received her medical degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She completed her pediatric residency at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, and her fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Waco, Texas.

Dr. Yen, board-certified in neonatal-perinatal medicine, is active in the Breastfeeding Coalition of the Ozark, which helped in forming the only breast milk depot in the area. She is also active in quality improvement projects regarding antibiotic use and helped develop eating, sleeping and consoling (ESC) guidelines for neonatal abstinence syndrome. Other professional interests include neonatal palliative care and nutrition.
