Evelyn Yurt, FNP

About

Evelyn is a board certified nurse practitioner. She completed a bachelor degree of nursing at the University of Florida in 1988, and a Master's of Science in nursing in 2005. She was then certified by the American National Credentialling Centre (ANCC) as a Nurse Practitioner. Prior to that, she was a nurse in the pediatric floor and ER at Bethesda Hospital. She is an expert on voiding dysfunction and urinary tract infections. She has a personal understanding of girls with UTIs and urinary reflux. She attends the annual pediatric urology meetings and has become a local expert in diagnosing and managing pediatric urologic problems. Patients and families are delighted to see her and appreciate her thorough evaluation and explanation of these diseases. She is sometimes the initial provider at the first visit, and if surgery is necessary, you will then see Dr. Donohoe or Dr. Kanaroglou to answer further questions.
