Dr. Olaide Ashimi Balogun completed her medical training at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, and finished her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Dr. Ashimi joined Obstetrix Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists in 2020 after spending several successful years in academic practice in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHealth).

Her choice to practice Maternal-Fetal Medicine is based on her passion for taking care of mothers and babies in their time of need. Using her education, up-to-date knowledge and skills to provide the highest quality Maternal-Fetal care, she makes a difference in women's and children's healthcare.

Dr. Olaide Ashimi Balogun is proud to serve the needs of high-risk patients and their OB/GYNs. She is a proud resident of Southwest Houston and is primarily located at our Sugar Land location. When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Ashimi enjoys spending time with her family.
