Erin Cerneka, NNP, is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner specializing in assessing newborns’ conditions in the neonatal intensive care unit and developing treatment plans. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Truman State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Erin has experience in medical-surgical and maternal/childbirth nursing and most recently practiced as a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner in an acute care setting. She joined Pediatrix in 2019 after many years of practicing with University of Missouri Health Care. Her areas of professional interest include neonatal resuscitation and therapeutic hypothermia.

Erin loves living in her small town of Fulton, Missouri. She and her husband, Shannon, have four children: Madeleine, Noah, Aiden and Liam. She is a proud Fulton Hornet and Marching Mizzou mom. When not at a ball game or band competition, Erin enjoys baking, cooking, entertaining friends and family, and most especially anything Disney.
