Val Newman, M.D.

About

Dr. Valerie Newman received her fellowship training in neonatology at University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, and University of California, San Francisco, California. She joined the group in July 1998. Dr. Newman is board-certified in neonatal-perinatal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Newman is the medical director for the Children's Transport Team at The Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. Her areas of clinical interest are prolonged heart-lung bypass (ECMO), congenital diaphragmatic hernia, pulmonary hypertension and transport medicine.
