About

Dr. Patt received his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he also completed his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship training. He received a master's degree at the University of Texas School of Public Health with a focus on health policy and pediatric obesity.

Dr. Patt is board certified in pediatric cardiology. His areas of clinical expertise include pediatric and congenital heart disease, medical ethics and health policy. He is the co-chair of the Bioethics Committee and serves on the Family-Centered Care Advisory Committee at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association and Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Patt is involved in pediatric health policy and advocacy at the state and national level. He also serves as the Director of Clinical Operations for Pediatrix's national network of pediatric cardiology practices, which includes more than 125 pediatric cardiologists in 10 states.

Dr. Patt enjoys living in Austin with his oncologist wife, Dr. Debra Patt, two daughters, son, two dogs, a bird and a bearded dragon.
