"Starting at a young age, I loved volunteering for youth projects, from community gardens to a special needs aquatic physical therapy program, and knew I wanted a career where I could help children lead happier and healthier lives. Pediatrics gives me energy and inspiration; measuring success in giggles and high-fives, but also being the doctor that my patients need in tough situations. I enjoy working together as a team with children, their families, and their health care unit to help them get through their acute illness and back to the activities they love."
