About

Dr. Harris has a special interest in health equity and promotion, and as such she has been heavily involved in multiple hospital committees that have led to the development of various quality improvement projects. She is also passionate about mentorship, particularly for underrepresented, first-generation medical students. Also, she has a special clinical interest in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. “For many women, pregnancy can be life or death. As a maternal-fetal medicine specialist, one is often a giver of hope when all others may say ‘no’ or ‘impossible.’ I aim to build relationships with my patients that will break the needless barriers between physicians and the community.”
