Benjamin Mackowiak, M.D.

Dr. Mackowiak received his undergraduate degree in Genetics/ Biology from the University of Georgia. He attended New York University School of Medicine in New York City where he received his medical degree. He completed his residency and chief residency training at the University of Washington Medical Center /Seattle Children’s Hospital. He completed his neonatal-perinatal clinical fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Dr. Mackowiak is board-certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine.
He is an active fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, AAP section on Early Career Physicians, and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
He was also appointed as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Clinical Educator Track) at Mercer University School of Medicine – Savannah Campus at Memorial University Medical Center.
