Tate Nice, M.D.

About

Dr. Tate R. Nice attended Texas Christian University where he received his Bachelor of Science in computer science and Bachelor of Arts in biology (summa cum laude) and minor in mathematics in 2002. He received his medical degree from Texas A&M School of Medicine with honors in 2008. Dr. Nice next completed his training in general surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas from 2008 to 2013. He then did 2 years of research at the University of Alabama at Birmingham while simultaneously receiving his Master of Science in Public Health at the UAB School of Public Health in 2013. Dr. Nice completed his fellowship in pediatric surgery at Children’s of Alabama UAB Medical Center in 2017.

Dr. Nice is board certified in general and pediatric surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has over 30 publications and presentations to his credit.
