Abhinav Pal, M.D.

About

Dr. Abhinav Pal specializes in neonatology. Dr. Pal earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India. He then completed a residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, N.Y., and a fellowship at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Ky. During his fellowship, he received the Fellows Clinical Research Award from the Society of Pediatric Research and the Pediatric Chair’s Achievement Award at graduation. Dr. Pal’s clinical interests are in neonatal neurology (specifically therapeutic hypothermia), pulmonary hypertension and neonatal resuscitation and simulation.

At the practice, Dr. Pal leads an “UBER preemie” collaborative that aims to improve the care of extremely low gestational age infants and develop simulation programs. He has also contributed to research publications on neonatal neurology, clinical asthma and attitudes on donor breast milk use.
