Dr. Amber Samuel received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. After her medical training, Dr. Samuel completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Pittsburgh and her Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship in New York at Columbia University Medical Center. After training, she returned to Emory University in Atlanta, where she had initially completed her undergraduate studies and served as Assistant Professor and the Director of the Perinatal Center at Emory University Midtown Hospital before relocating with her family to The Woodlands.
She enjoys all aspects of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, including ultrasound screening, genetic screening, and diagnosis, monitoring high-risk pregnancies and assisting in the care of pregnant women diagnosed with complex medical complications of pregnancy or congenital fetal abnormalities. She is the Medical Director for Obstetrix-Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists of Houston and plays a crucial role in the growth and expansion of our practice and services. In addition to providing quality patient care, Dr. Samuel has a keen interest in the business aspects of healthcare, which inspired her to pursue and complete her MBA at Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. She is an active member of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was recently invited to serve on the Board of The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Samuel can be found at all of our locations throughout Greater Houston. She is a proud resident of The Woodlands, and when she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Samuel enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Samuel is pleased to provide the highest quality of care possible for high-risk pregnant mothers and their babies.
