Clair Schwendeman, M.D.

Dr. Schwendeman, board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine, received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown and completed his pediatric residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He completed his neonatal-perinatal fellowship training at Wilford Hall United States Air Force Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Dr. Schwendeman served in the U.S. Army for eleven years and achieved the rank of Major, serving as Assistant Chief of Pediatrics and Chief of Neonatology at Landstuhl Army Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany. Dr. Schwendeman previously served in administrative positions including President of the Medical Staff, Chief of Pediatrics, Pediatric Department Chairman and Medical Director of the NICU.
