About Our Practice

Pediatrix-affiliated pediatric hospitalists provide inpatient care and management of acutely-ill children as well as newborn nursery services. Our hospitalists care for children with a wide range of illnesses that require hospitalization. These physicians work closely with each patient's primary physician and provide an overview of care given as well as additional details for further care upon discharge. In the newborn nursery, our pediatricians are available for babies during their hospital stay, providing evaluation and observation, after which they are referred to their pediatricians or family practitioners for follow-up care.
